Wondir.com a Social Network?

Great stuff at Life with Alacrity on the struggles of social networking sites. Wondir is difficult to classify, which I take as a good sign. We're not technically an expert site. We're more of a question and answer forum. But all forums I've seen like this require membership, and we don't. Wondir is as easy and anonymous to use as a search engine, and in fact it is a search engine, with more varied results, coupled with the perk that your question-style search goes on the live question board to be answered in an instant post by anyone with an answer. But our visitors and members don't always use Wondir as a question and answer forum, or as a search engine, and this is where it gets interesting. What people are using Wondir for may define what it is. And they often use us to meet other people, to connect with people, wanting more than a one-time answer or advice session. Just take a look at the Wondir Ticker and see what people are asking. A good portion of the time it's "Hey, anyone want to talk about ____" or some kid "If Joe is here please IM me at _______. I need to talk to you."
