Future of Blogging

Dave Winer and Scoble on the future of blogging. Obviously there's the wiki. Wondir's instant question and answer board is a psuedo wannabe wiki, which is preferrable to a real wiki when you don't know the first thing about how this stuff works. Regarding Winer's challenge for non-tech users to suggest the future of the blog, given that the essence of blogging includes some kind of self-publishing on the net, I would say chat blogging of some kind would serve as a respectable next generation blog tool. What you're writing is posted as you write it, word for word, live on a web page that your audience can see and respond to live. That's my input. Have no idea how it would work or if it can be done or if it's being done already. Wondir's instant message board is a specialized live self-publishing tool of a sort, but so are chat rooms if I broaden the definition that much so I won't.
